Today I'm going to be doing my AAA second thoughts, review, kind of a really not a review of the game, just a couple players. but obviously we have to start with the news about Jaden Daniels. Being shut down for the season, now that there's three games left, and Dan Quinn told us that on Monday, so let's go over that right now. So, you know, by the way, there's some other injuries to worry about, like, Laramutonso is the only other one that Quinn updated a sign and just for an update,

he has an oblique injury, not sure yet about his status for Saturday, there you go.

So let's get to Jane Daniels.

So number one, this was an anticipated move that basically once they said it was re-agravated

last week with changing the wording of it from after the game then it became okay you knew it would be difficult from to play again and just in talking other people around the team beat like most people thought like probably not going to play again people close to him didn't think he would play again. So this is not a surprise.

And part of the reason, so what Quinn told us is that he still has not been clear for contact

and that he was unlikely to play Saturday against the Eagles.

So knowing that, and then knowing you have a short week the following game against Dallas

on Christmas Day, it didn't make sense to bring him back under those circumstances.

And I all, I, so I think that was what has said. And that all makes sense. Like that I was, as you

know, I was an advocate of bringing him back to get him more snaps. That was with five games left.

If there were two games left, I thought that just doesn't make sense because you want to give them a chance to get out there, get your rhythm back, and have a couple good games in a row where you can play at a certain level. Five games allows you to do that. Four games allows you to do that. Three is kind of borderline, too. No, that just doesn't allow you to do that. And while it would be good to get him back out there, you want him back out there as Quinn said, when he could be himself. And if you're not going to be yourself, so to speak, then it doesn't make sense to have him out there with, again, with only potentially two games left for him. And so, like, again, not been clear for contact. Now, we all know that there have been some

optics here that haven't looked great. And after the Seattle game, for example, Quinn said he did not,

after the game, said he did not regret leaving him in, knowing that how Daniels is. He is a dynamic

player. He's going to run when it when it's not there. He's very
