relaxing time off with your families, etc. Or even if you're not, I hope you're enjoying the holiday

spirit in some

way. Tomorrow, one of our favorite artists of all time, one of my favorite artists of all time,

Beyonce, will perform tracks from her latest studio album, Cowboy Carter, at the halftime show

for some football game that I don't know that much about in Houston, Texas. So we thought,

as a second spin for this week, we would drop an episode

early, and it would be part three of our Beyonce series from all the way back in summer

2022. This was one of the most important series in Pop Pantheon's history. It was the first time

we ever really did a series like this. And it was a huge undertaking that I think ended up being a huge onboarding moment for a lot of

pop pantheon fans. And it's some of the work that I'm the most proud of us for doing. This is the third

installment with Dr. Daphne Brooks that covers Beyonce's self-titled album through just before

Renaissance dropped. This series was timed with the release of Renaissance. So if you haven't listened to this

series before, I really recommend you go back and listen to the entire four-parter. It's really,

really, really, really worth doing. And if you have, I just wanted to remind you of this episode,

because it's one of the most moving, I think, in Pop Pantion history. Dr. Brooks is an incredible

wealth font of knowledge and a beautiful storyteller.
