Yo, what's going on?

It's Thursday, October 23rd, week eight about to start tonight, and that means we are officially in the second half of the fantasy football regular season. We're almost in the second half of the NFL regular season as well. And I do like to divide the season up into quarters. I know it truly doesn't divide up into quarters because it's an 18 week season. But for our purposes, I kind of look at it still in the

traditional 16 weeks. I know we play 17, but still, first four weeks is the first quarter.

Second four weeks is the second quarter. Well, we're almost done that, which means we're almost

in the third quarter of the season. And the third quarter can bring some surprises. Honestly, the second quarter of the season brought some surprises. Some of the stuff that we really thought was going to be the case after the first quarter, after the first month. It wasn't, right? Elychey Manor. Not a thing anymore. He scored some touchdowns and then kind of, you know, turned back into a pumpkin. A few of

these other than Quentin Johnston, he's not an elite level fantasy option. I mean, he's still very

usable as a wide receiver too. If you're listening to this after tonight's game, then you'll

know the results. But still, I think he's a wide receiver too regardless. But he's not an elite

level player, whereas he was not an elite level player,

whereas he was putting up elite level numbers early in the season, right?

The season changes.

There's ebbs and flows.

There's an evolution.

And as you can see from today's title, I want to look at some second half breakout candidates.

And I do actually want to go team by team on the podcast to see if there are any guys that we can identify here. Now, I want to preface this very clearly. Just because their names get brought up as second half breakout candidates does not mean you need to trade away every single player for these players. These are just players that we're going to keep an eye on. I am not Jeff Stradamus. I am not Miss Cleo. I have no DeLorean or Tartis or any sort of

time machine whatsoever. I cannot see the future, but I can at least look for characteristics of

potential breakout players to see if we can get a Bucky Irving or somebody along those lines for the

second half of the NFL season. And those are the guys, man. Those are the guys who take us to the

Promise Land. So let's go AFC first, and we'll start with the Buffalo Bills. I don't really fully see one here,

but there is at least one candidate, and you probably know who it's going to be. I wish I knew how to

quit you, Keon Coleman. Hey, if he can put things together, and Joshua Palmer isn't going to be. I wish I knew how to quit you, Keon Coleman.
