Second date update.

Some people might say it's presumptuous on a first date to bring a girl straight to a hotel.

Yeah.

But Brooke would say the Lakinta, oh my.

I didn't know you were going to say a nice hotel.

We don't even need a room.

I'll just lay on the breakfast bar.

You feed me raisin brand until I say stop.

I'll show you how to use that waffle maker.

Wait, this is an 8 a.m. date?

That's how Brooke likes it.

But I only bring it up because according to our listener, Jack, in his email email he says he had his first date at a local

hotel and that's all i know so jack you dog we say a nice restaurant at a local hotel

and you know what that sounds really great but it wasn't. We're talking about the breakfast bar sounds really great. Hook up with the waffle machine? No, I'm talking about taking the lady to a hotel on the first date. Oh, it didn't happen. Oh, did that not happen? I thought that's what it said in the email. Jeff, what did you mess up again? Sorry, reading's hard. Okay, I apologize. So maybe you should just start at the beginning. Tell us about this lady that you met. All right. Well, we did go to a hotel, but it was the coffee bar. So Jeff read the word hotel and was like, it was a hotel day. What else do you do at a hotel? You can get coffee. Apparently. Why was it a coffee bar okay, but the La Quinta breakfast bar isn't? I mean, literally, what is the difference? It's kind of a blurb line. I mean, it's just a fancier name. I just figured if I put hotel in the email, it's like, oh, this is getting somebody's attention. Okay. It works. It's sure it is.

What's her name? It's easy to get there. Her name is Delilah. Okay. And how did you meet her? We met on a dating app. Did you take everything in your power not to sing that plain white tea song to her? Oh, God. I mean she's from all the life. Yeah. And you would think like that alone would make me remember. But I don't know if it's because, you know, dating ass and you're looking at a lot of different people, a lot of different names. But we were sitting there, and I think within five minutes, I can't remember her name. No. Oh, no. Yeah. What did you do? Oh, dang. You're like, hey there, pretty lady. Oh, yeah. Oh, coffee lover. Hopefully not. Luckily, she kind of saved me from it because she started telling a story about her and a friend. She was like, oh, and my friend was like, Delilah, what are you doing? And I'm like, oh, that's it. Oh, Delilah, yes.

Oh, my gosh, you listened to her?

That's a good thing.
