It is Thursday night, April 15th, the Year of Our Lord, 2021.

J-Lo, A-Rod, no more. So we did indeed outlive them. That

prop bet hits. We are jam-packed tonight, and we have got a lot to talk about because it's a big

spring weekend. There are tons of spring games all over the place. So if you haven't already

blocked off your Saturday, maybe the weather's going to be good where you live. Maybe it's not. I would strongly suggest either being parked in front of the TV or get that DVR fired up because there are a number of really, really big spring games this week. And keep in mind, a lot of these places, you're going to see people in the stands for the first time in well over a year. So that's something to look forward to. We're going to talk about those all over the SEC and beyond tonight. I'm hitting Ohio State pretty hard tonight because had some extended conversations over the last week, and I wanted to wait until tonight so I could have those conversations. So you'll notice we haven't talked about the Buckeyes in about a week and a half. The drought ends tonight. Got some whispers and intel from Columbus. The entire N-L-I picture, the name and image and likeness picture, N-I-L, there we go. It's evolving. And we've talked about it, and I've told you that it will evolve. And I think the way that we phrased it in January was, some of the mole hills will become mountains. Some of the mountains will become

mole hills. Well, now we're in sort of the evolutionary process of that we're starting to see it.

Some programs are making moves that I think illustrate our point. We're going to talk about that

tonight. And also, there is a recruiting tsunami coming. So you can go ahead and turn on those

sirens. I grew up in Georgia. I have no

clue what it's like when a tsunami is imminent, but figuratively, there is one coming in recruiting.

In fact, in the last hour or so, I mean, Jesse, we didn't even have time to make a graphic for it,

not that we need it necessarily, but there's been news on this, even within the last hour, about the

recruiting calendar. And let me tell you, if you think

summer's normally boring, you know, we don't believe in the X season around here, but if you think

summer's boring, wait do you see what's about to happen. So I also wanted to let you know,

it's been a loaded week around here. If you're a subscriber to the Latekick podcast feed,

you already saw today the late kick show owners association meeting

has dropped i was right here in the studio last night i had to call up director emeritus colin

and face time my way around the studio so he could show me how to turn the lights on pathetic and he did

and i thank him and so we got that recorded last night. We went a solid two hours. It's really great.
