All right, Brian, let's talk about the SEC conference here specifically.

We're getting into part two of the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to you by Fanduil.

And before we dive into the conference predictions and the superlatives, let's talk about this conference big picture.

There's been a lot of talk this offseason about, you know, who's the deeper conference and who's the harder

conference to play in between the SEC and the Big Ten.

And that just might be an ongoing conversation for years to come, years down the road.

But when you do look at this conference, Brian, big picture up top, are they a deep conference?

Do you think they're going to be a little bit more top heavy?

How do you see this playing out for them?

Well, I'll start with this, Trevor.

I think this is a big year for the SEC.

I do.

I think this is the year where if they don't perform better on the bigger stages,

the little tiny chinks in the armor that we see now become much bigger dense,

because you could say, well, look, we had a down year this past year and young quarterbacks

and quarterback, whatever, this and that, and, you know, Ohio State was really good and their name

was really good.

And, you know, our best team wasn't even that, you know, it was a down year for them.

And say, okay, well, what about 2023 when the SEC champ didn't get past the semifinals?

Again, so not only has an SEC team not won the last two national championships,

they haven't had an SEC team even play in the last two national championship games.

You've had two big 10 teams, a Pac-12 team, and an independent play in the last two national championships.
