Hello and welcome in it's always college football. I'm Greg McElroy and today it's a very

special edition of always college football we're on the road and the football season

has officially

official. It's SEC Media Days. Today is July 15th and it's the start of talking season

which means we are full speed ahead into fall camp here in a couple weeks. We will have

four coaches taking the podium today. I don't know if you can see behind me that's

the podium right back there for those that are listening on the podcast.

It's just a gigantic ballroom here in Dallas, Texas.

It really does ring true.

After having done this event in Atlanta and Nashville and Birmingham, and now in Dallas for the very first time it does ring true

everything is bigger than Texas this is the most gigantic ballroom ever and

looking at the credentialed media members, the sheer quantity of media members from Austin, Texas that will be here covering the Longhorns is pretty mind-loy.

So they are all in on being a part of the SEC which is now coined a motto

and it's kind of all over the place 16 strong. So it should be a lot of fun today.

LSU will take the podium today South Carolina, Old Miss, and I believe

Vanderbilt? I don't know. I can't keep track of who's who. I just know LSU's first. So I will start with LSU.

And then we will address the others as they come along.
