Welcome to the Bone Yard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend, Steve Robertson,

here on the magnificent Monday edition of the yard as we speak today, athletic director John Cohen,

and the other ADs from the SEC membership are in Birmingham, meeting with Greg Zanke

and SEC officials to discuss the 2020 football season.

I am told that meeting could run into the evening.

They would like to be done no later than 5 o'clock,

but I'm told that it could run over that there are several issues to discuss,

including protocols and contingencies and everything could possibly happen.

We do expect to hear that the SEC will play a conference-only schedule.

And at this point, that's the only probably safe projection at this point.

Like all of you, I am eagerly awaiting news of the meeting.

I am sure the SEC will work up a release at some point later today, complete

with statements some Greg Sankey kind of outline what's going to happen next with the SEC football.

Like each of you, I'm kind of waiting with baited breath over all of this.

And I'm going to spend some time talking about this today on the show.

There's some other things that are kind of going on

in the world of sports that are kind of connected to all this. So we're going to talk about some of that.

I like to give, you know, it's just one of those things. Sometimes I think if I had, if I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

On the way home from my aunt's funeral on Saturday, had a breakdown there on 59.

And, you know, Jason and Dawn and the good folks there at the bully shop, their Meridian, came and rescued me.

My car is not being looked at down there, Meridian.
