I'm Elvis Mitchell.

My guest pounded himself by making three films in the last two and a half years.

Of course, that included, of course, disobedience, fantastic women, which she won in the Academy of

War. Congratulations. And his new film, of course, is Gloria Bell, but he made one of my favorite

films of this decade of the century, Year of the Tiger. I love that film, by the way.

Oh, thank you so much. I guess, of course, is Sebastian Laleo. Thanks so much for being here. And what's so interesting

about these three films, in addition to them worrying you out, is that, of course, there are

films about women dealing with their sexuality in ways we don't normally see in movies, aren't they?

Yes. Yes, I think that's correct.

See, I like to start off being correct, so we can go downhill from there, but it's a very interesting take on women's sort of only the sexuality.

I mean, I think about, there's some of the things I think about since we were just talking about music before we got started.

I think about the way you use music, and it's almost like you're conducting a score.

I mean, you get the sort of sense of highs and lows.

I mean, some feel like pop songs. Some people feel like opera. And I wonder if music is kind of key to you in the way that you put your movies together.

Yes, yes, it is. I mean, I love music in just my life. And when I'm writing, I usually create a playlist.

So there are some songs or music themes that inspire me for each particular project.

And somehow some of them make their way into the film or they are just inspirational.

But music is essential for me to get in the mood of the kind of like the emotional territory of whatever I'm exploring.

And then one of the things I enjoy the most and I love the most of making a film is using music.

You know, either score, like original music created for the film or songs or themes that come from within the scenes.
