Welcome in the Ringer Fantasy Football Show. My name is Danny Hyfitts I'm joined by Danny Kelly and Craig Horlebeck and the Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl champions. You did it. You did it. Craig, how do you feel? Well, I'm feeling pretty good. You know, no one's really talking about the fact that, sure, the Patriots have six Super Bowls, but they also have six Super Bowl losses.

0:40.6

You know what I mean? Six and six in the Super Bowl, kind of ugly. The Steelers, six and two in the Super Bowl. I feel like that's what we should be talking about. We needed to be making this by the Steelers, that's for sure, yeah. D.K. Seahawks fan. You won the Super Bowl. How does it feel?

0:53.1

It feels incredible. This was an ass kicking.

0:55.3

I feel like Craig was saying You won the Super Bowl. How does it feel? It feels incredible.

2:34.7

This was an ass kicking. I feel like what Craig was saying it basically the whole game. The score was a lot closer than it felt during the game. Like that was the Seahawks absolutely dominated basically from start to finish. First three quarters, it was. Belt to ass. Felt to ass. Yeah. So I feel great. Particularly defensively is because the CX couldn't stop kicking field goals, which is why the game felt closer than it actually was. Right, right. But I feel great. I'm excited. So you always joke that a familiar feeling after a CX win, misery. What is your... This is good. Allation. It was, it got a little miserable there for a while because it was so close until, I don't know, they went up 20, what was it, 20. They went up 29 to 7 after the interception pick six. And then at that point. And then at that point. Like a fumble six, but it was technically a pick six. At that point, I was like, okay, I feel good. So 2913, DK, you seemed relatively calm. You didn't talk a whole lot during the game. You checked your heart rate. It was flying in the first quarter. Yeah, you have a whoop. I was in stress zone. Your whoop was like, what are you doing right now? Yeah, your quarter's all was up. 9-0 at halftime. but you felt pretty confident the whole game, I feel like. I did, yeah. I think because the Seahawks defense did exactly what I thought I would do in basically just slowly draining the life out of the Patriots offense. I mean, if you look at some of the stats for Drake May for their run game, basically their offense, through three quarters, they had punted, I think, more times than they had completed a pass. So that was pretty much exactly what I expected to see. And then on the offensive side of the ball, like for the Seahawks, you know, they had a couple of misplays. There was a Sam Darnold just barely missed JSN. He would have been free for like an 85-yard touchdown. He had a couple of them. That was early in the game. Almost should have underthruh touchdown at the end of the first half to JASN, had the missed Rashid Shahid should have touched. Like the Seahawks won by two touchdowns. Really, they won by like four field goals, but they won by two touchdowns, but they very easily Seattle could have won by four touchdowns. Yeah, It was, I mean, it went about exactly what I expected. I mean, the game ended up having more points than I expected early on, but I thought the CX were going to dominate defensively, and they did exactly that. I mean, it was just, the Patriots could not move the football. They, you know, until the fourth quarter when they had that touchdown to Mack Hollins, I think on those two plays, they had more yards on those two plays

3:11.1

than... Until the fourth quarter when they had that touchdown to Mac Hollins, I think on those two plays, they had more yards on those two plays than all plays prior to that.

3:13.9

So, I mean, the Seahawks really put the clamps down and, you know, the offense made enough plays.

3:19.1

Sam Darle made a couple of nice throws.

3:21.2

Kenneth Walker was awesome.

3:22.4

He made some explosive runs.

3:23.7

Super Bowl MVP Ken Walker. Yeah. Super Bowl MVP, Ken Walker.

3:25.2

Yeah, Super Bowl MVP, Ken Walker. I've been saying it for 10 damn years. And then their

3:31.5

special teams are awesome. This is kind of like the story of the sea. This felt like the Seahawks

3:35.0

season in a nutshell was their defense was absolutely dominant. Their special teams came through in the clutch.

3:41.8

I mean, obviously, the kicking game was great.

3:45.2

Myers had all of his kicks, I believe.

3:46.9

And then the punter, Dixon.

3:48.3

Michael Dixon, shouts out that guy.

3:50.1

Yeah, just coffin cornered it like three or four times,

3:53.8

pinned the Patriots back.

3:55.1

They won the field position game.

3:57.3

And Sam Darnold didn't turn the ball over. No turnovers by the Seahawks during the playoffs,
