but the City Council is making important decisions that will impact Seattle for years to come.

But first, there's what's coming up this week.

Boeing machinists are expected to vote on the company's latest contract offer. The union is endorsing the plan, which contains a 38% pay raise over four years, but no pension.

Regardless of the outcome, Boeing reportedly

plans to lay off 10% of workers. King 5 News reports that a vetted source said those layoff notices
