I'm Brandon Schultz, and today, man, the Seahawks, they're coming off of a disappointing loss to the L.A. Rams, but they're going to have their work cut out for them as they try and bounce back against the Detroit Lions.

They're riding high.

They kicked off their first win and they're coming back to play at home for the first game of the season.

Joining me to talk about it is the co-host of the Believe in Lions, part of the Believe Podcast Network.

He's fourth round draft pick in the 2009 draft.

He earned Pro Bowl and all pro honors during his time in the NFL and played safety for the Detroit Lions Glover Quinn.

It's a week against a team that is riding high off of their week one win.

I was interested to talk to you this week because, you know, I look back at your career.

And now it wasn't the Super Bowl champs, but the Colts were the

AFC champs and they had to come down and face you when you were playing with the Texans.

Obviously, that creates a big matchup, especially when you have the AFC champs in your house.

They're the Super Bowl representatives. You guys got that win against the Colts to kick off week one of the season. What kind of victory does that have? What kind of impact does a victory like that have on the team? I mean, it's huge. You know, I mean, week one is a special time of the year. And when you get a chance to play against the Super Bowl champs or the AMC champs or

some type of a person or team that went far, got close.

And for us, you know, Indianapolis was a division rival, right?

So when you can beat them at home, I mean, the crowd was crazy and the energy in the building was just electric.

And, you know, it's Peyton Manning.
