Greetings, earthlings, I come bearing news. There is a big change coming to the podcast for

2023. Well, it's actually a pretty small change. It just feels big. I made this announcement

on social media a couple weeks ago, so if you follow me on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok,

you already know this, but moving forward, the podcast will have a new name.

Nothing else is changing.

If you've seen the new logo, it looks literally exactly the same just with the new name.

The content isn't changing.

The format isn't changing.

The schedule isn't changing.

Just the name.

To keep the explanation as brief as possible,

the show is something very different now than what it started out as four years and 95

episodes ago. For two friends making each other laugh with wild tales of, you know,

the paranormal and dark history and true crime. So dead was a fun name.

We picked it in the spirit of like, oh my God, I'm so dead, which is a phrase I really say in

real life, usually sarcastically with that accent as well. It was fitting back then. But as we all

know, Danny left the show after season one, and it's just been me

these past three. This will be my fourth season here, now on my own, that we're getting ready to

launch. The show has gotten a lot more serious, the stories covered, a lot more in depth, and I just

don't feel that So Dead fits the spirit of what the podcast has turned into.

So Dead was a great name for a podcast where two friends make each other laugh and trade wild stories.

It's not a great name for an investigative podcast covering delicate crime cases.
