Episode 12 Chapter 25 Memory Problems

It's Saturday January 27th, 2018, so it's a year minus one day to the day lane park

disappeared. The reason it's minus one day is because it's a Saturday today and it was a

Saturday, and I thought that was more significant, and I'm sort of repeating the drive.

I'm retracing the route from Devine Compares House in Calabasas to the spot in Malibu where

lane park's car was found. At the exact time she left Devine's house a year earlier,

trying to see if I notice anything that helps explain what happened to her.

It is a pretty time to drive down the beach and actually watch the sunset.

Obviously, I meant to say sunrise. It's about 6.25 am.

And what I notice is that even at this early hour in the winter, there are people here stopping,

talking, and taking photos. Here I am. I'm looking at the exact spot where lane pulled in.

So any unusual activity, such as a struggle or someone walking into the water fully clothed,

would likely be noticed. And just to clarify, it remains uncertain if a lane actually drove for
