All right, everybody, welcome back to the season finale edition of The Teardown.

My name is Jeff Gluck.

I'm along with my coworker Jordan Bianchi.

We are motorsports writers to the athletic.

And we are here with one final episode for 2024 before Jordan gets to his favorite holiday. The Grinch, getting ready for

Christmas. You must be excited, Jordan. Can't wait. So excited. I love this holiday so much. I just

putting up a Christmas tree is the biggest waste of time around. It is so silly in a name,

and I do not understand it for the life of me.

My mom called me.

She's like, hey, do you want all your child's ornaments?

Like, hell now.

Throw them in the garbage.

I don't want that.

I don't care.

Oh, man, I tell you what,

we've had our Christmas tree up,

I guess, since the day after Thanksgiving or you're one of those people.

And we are probably going to have it up until February. We had it up until February last year.

Because you know what? It's so nice to have like these nice lights in the dark winter months.

The depressing, you know, gets dark at like four o'clock. Don't you have like the lamp you can turn on? You don't need Christmas lights.

But you come downstairs and the tree's still all lit and you feel like it's not as depressing in January.
