you this spring and this series if you've been

listening for the past few weeks you know that I've been coming around some new

communication to you on social media. So your voice helps so much with us getting the

word out. You know that me sharing about this new music with you today is about so

much more than me releasing music. It's more that these songs give us sort of a diving

board to enter the deep together, discovering the glorious things of God right in the middle of our mundane or seemingly pretty ordinary days.

During this season of grief, I have been experiencing what my brother Eric articulated so beautiful at my mother's

celebration of life service that I've been holding the tension of grief and gratitude

in these days. And when you think about it, gratitude gets specific, doesn't it?

I mean, I think you can have an overall sense and attitude of gratitude, but when you sit and think about it, it's usually specific things that rise up and it really

is so healthy and healing to say those things out loud especially in the midst of really

hard things.
