0:27.4	It's amazing that we started this podcast three and a half years ago.
0:32.8	We recently went back and listened to one of our older episodes,
0:36.8	and we were shocked to hear how different
0:39.1	it sounded when we first started.
0:41.4	I was just four years old when we recorded the first few episodes.
0:46.1	If you go back and listen to episodes from a few years ago, we both sounded a bit different,

0:53.0	I had a lateral lisp, so my S's sounded different.
0:57.2	Well, it's certainly not unusual for someone to sound different at eight years old than they did
1:02.3	at four, but you did also correct your lateral lisp since we started the podcast.

1:09.0	When a person with a lateral lisp speaks and they try to make
1:12.9	the s sound that the letter S makes in words like snake, it doesn't sound quite right because
1:19.5	air is released over the sides of the tongue. So the letter S sounds more like a lateral lisp is
1:26.9	pretty common in kids.
1:29.1	I took speech classes for a few years, and I was able to work on my lateral lisp.
1:34.3	That's one of the reasons I sound so different today.
1:37.6	You sounded adorable then, and you still sound adorable today.
1:42.1	We also have a lot more confidence now that we did when we first started the podcast.
1:47.1	You're definitely right about that.
1:49.0	When we first started the podcast, everything was so new for us.
