I'm your host, Christy Knuckles.

I feel a great sense of joy today as I've been preparing for and recording this podcast

to get to come around this word valor together.

It's a very special song to me called Just That Valor, which is an anchor song on my

new album called This Is the Hour, Available Everywhere You Listen to Music.

And I don't know.

It just feels fitting that as I'm recording this, we are coming up on Mother's Day this

Sunday.

And I've just come to understand this word valor in relationship to women in particular.

And I just think it's pretty sweet how this episode would fall on the very week we are

celebrating moms and some of us even being celebrated as moms.

So if you are one of those people out there, happy Mother's Day, I've often said that

having this podcast is sort of a songwriter's dream as I essentially get to tell the stories

behind the songs.

And for a dreamer and an artist like me who loves to do a deep dive when coming around

the themes that God gives me, there's just this joy that really does rise up in me when

I get to share about it.

Again, this isn't solely about the songs, but it really is as you know about the truth

in these songs.

I sat with a friend a few years ago, he's actually a ghostwriter for authors and even a lot

of celebrities.
