So today, I'm going to answer just a few of the questions that I've received.

So first off, I've got an email from Maria, and she says, I'm a big fan of the show, and

Ramadan is right now, so I think it'd be interesting to hear people's views and thoughts

on training while fasting.

But fasting is always a hot topic, especially when it comes to training and performance.

I think what I would do is actually focus on just maintenance, on just trying to maintain

the strength that you had entering into Ramadan or into your fast period as best you can.

And I do that with my athletes by using a concept called deloting.

And really what deloting refers to is a reduction in the amount of weight, the amount of sets,

the amount of reps, the amount of work that you do in a week, and reducing that anywhere

between 30 and 50%.

So for example, if you do strength training, and every day you do three sets of 10 for

six exercises, and that's your workout, I would reduce that maybe by one set, so do two
