Season 6 - Episode 9

Supernatural Shenanigans: Ghostly Giggles and Paranormal Pubs

Get ready for a spooktacular time! Linda Bleeding Pollack is here, sporting a safari-themed khaki shirt, looking absolutely fabulous.

Linda and I delve into the bizarre tale of her four friends, waiting for their mobile phones to signal the end of the world...or at least, the end of their sanity. But fear not, you've got this podcast to keep you entertained in the meantime!

In a spine-chilling story, 57-year-old, David Hansell, claims he knew he'd meet an early demise. He believes he died, only to be escorted by angels to a celestial pub. A pub filled with stunningly coloured bottles - but alas, no spirits within them.

This week, I chat with comic Aideen McQueen in my car, who shares her eerie childhood story of feeling possessed. To ward off the spooky sensations, she would bless herself repeatedly and recite prayers before sleep.

Prepare for a hair-raising tale from Chat its Fate magazine - "Man in the Mirror"!

Matt Stanley-Evans recounts a chilling 'time slip' story from Liverpool in the late '90s and talks about an old house he once lived in. Reports of an elderly woman wandering the halls and the scent of someone's pipe still linger. Matt joins us from Formby in Sefton, Merseyside.

A mysterious knock on the door reveals Ruth with some flat issues. She suspects the late Mrs. Stewart has blocked her toilet. Ruth and I agree to speak to Evesham Properties about the paranormal plumbing predicament.

I also interview and reminisce about a gig on Oldham Street in Manchester with comedian Mike Milligan. Amidst the spirited happenings outside the pub, and we delve into the supernatural.

Linda and I are on stage at the 100 Club on Oxford Street in London! Join us September and October - both on Sundays.
