I am here with my co-house, co-host slash zero-time champion of recipe club, Dave Chang,

because we are going to launch the new season of recipe

club today. We're going to talk about the themes and recipes and new format and talk

through, scout out some of the new club members and preview our new format. If you are new to the

show, today is a great episode to start with. you are a long time listener i'm so sorry for how

long you've had to wait it was nice knowing you okay uh you know i've been i've been for those

that i just listened to the first time we've made a lot of changes on the show over the five years

it started this this show was born out of

zoom calls not being able to do anything and how do you find a way to connect with a person

over a zoom call during peak pandemic times and that's how recipe club was born and it was something that was not sustainable in every iteration became less and less

sustainable in its previous format.

And that's why we ultimately continue to tweak it.

So if you are listening for the first time, you can go back to all of our, you know,

previous seasons. And you will find that there's

no continuity at all. Recipe Club is a reflection of the zeitgeist. Yes. So welcome to a brand

new season that I don't even know what the rules are. I just know that I've been saying to people on the Dave Chang Show podcast, you're not going to be happy if you're a fan of Recipe Club.
