People thought he was taking the Mickey out of boxing, you know, that he was going in against hand-picked opponents who didn't have an earthly chance of beating him, you know, not preparing particularly assiduously and going and just taking the money and effectively running.

Radio commentary, I think that boxing on radio works extremely well.

Peter Jones, who was a fabulous, fabulous sports broadcaster, he actually presented quite a lot of big boxing events, but he was a wonderful sports broadcaster who died about 30 years ago, 31 years ago.

And he used to say, people, because he was debonair, good-looking guy, people said, Peter, why have you never done television? And his answer used to be because, dear boy, there are better pictures on the radio.

After he won the title and coming into one of the, to be coming into one of the Holyfield fights, and there are stories of him coming down from 300 pounds or something to have it.

And I remember Eddie telling me, you know, when people win a title, most people go and buy Ferrari or build a swimming pool. He said, he's built an ensuite kitchen.
