Tony's part of the reason that I made major changes to life I was living because

he's dedicated so much time, time he ain't gonna get back

do you know what I mean? I don't think there's anything worse than time wasted

so I ain't just had to pay off for me in terms of me for my family but also this man that's

invested so much time into me and taking me under his wing. I went up on one of my hands as

all on my elbows as all you know so for me to then go I'll do that for another next six seven

years in my life I want to be able to live after boxing. Yeah I just thought like yeah like you

ruined boy. Now I'm in the game I think yeah me going to America and absolutely annihilating

air champion I think caught yeah like but it's the way he sets about and it's the way he demands

Hello and welcome back to boxing life stories I am delighted to say this week I'm joined by Connor Ben

who is one of the hot properties in not just British boxing but in well boxing. Connor and I have

been talking about doing this for a while and it really didn't disappoint. I know some people

prefer the old fighters some prefer the journalist episodes but it's good to throw in some current

fighters once in a while and speak to them while they're on their journeys to the top of the sport

which is where I'm sure Connor is going. Often with these guys they're asked about a fight they've

just had or what's next and it's hard to get depth with that line of questioning and usually it

just results in the same old sound bites so I was really happy to do this with Connor I think it

shows another side of him and it's a side I'm more familiar with than the one we see on TV. I think
