0:11.5	Hey there, friends.
0:12.9	Hard to believe that February of 2022 was the last episode that we released for season two of trauma
0:19.5	ICU rounds, but we are back with season
0:22.5	three. As many of you know, in the last year, I made the move back up to Canada, where I'm originally
0:29.3	from, and it's been very, very busy. We've been building and developing our regional trauma
0:36.9	system here on Vancouver Island.
0:39.3	I'm currently residing in Victoria.
0:41.4	We've got almost 750,000 people on this island.
0:46.1	And prior to coming here, there was no actual inpatient trauma service or trauma team leader roster caring for injured patients.
0:55.4	So needless to say, things have been very, very busy clinically, administratively.
1:01.8	In addition to building the trauma program and being involved in the clinical care
1:06.6	and delivery of trauma services, I've also been doing my time on the acute care surgery or EGS service
1:12.5	and of course critical care medicine. And I am super pumped up about season three of trauma ICU rounds.
1:19.7	We have an incredible list of guest professors, academicians from around the world who will
1:25.8	share their insights as well as perspectives on current and recent
1:30.6	developments in trauma, critical care as well as acute care surgery. Also looking forward to doing
1:36.4	more regular journal clubs with you where I break down the literature so you don't have to.
