On Friday, Donald Trump signed an executive order that suspends the refugee admissions program for 120 days and refugees from Syria indefinitely.

It also suspends entry into the United States from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen for 90 days.

But I thought before we introduced our guest, do you want to talk about our new opening?

Yeah, I was texting Sarah over the weekend while I was at home for a family funeral and I was trying to kind of process everything happening there as well as all of the news.

And I just am not identifying with the Republican Party at this point.

I'm very excited about Evan McMullan and stand up Republican, some good conservative work that's being done.

But especially as I read, a New York Times piece about how excited a lot of Trump supporters are about what's happening in the first days of his administration.

I just thought the right doesn't feel right to me at this point.

The right doesn't feel right to me.

I like that.

So we are here in person.

We're very excited about that.

Even if it is sort of for a sad reason that we're in the same room because Beth is traveling for a family funeral.

But me and my husband, Nicholas, who's here, executive producer.

We are staying with my beloved friend Annie, which you guys all know because I talk about Annie a lot and post about Annie a lot.

And we are in Annie's home and Chad was unable to join.
