Michael Brodie had an incredible career. He was desperately unlucky not to be crowned WBC super-bantamweight champion against Willie Jorrin and then came up against the likes of Injin Chi and Scott Harrison. Brodie was a Manchester favourite who packed the crowds in and was involved in several Fight of the Year contenders. He never had it easy.
