Season two here. We are hello. Say about are you there being real quiet over there?

I know what to say. It isn't like I brought us it. I think no, I don't have a problem with that. We made it

I don't know any other shows that take breaks that feel that long. I don't know any other show either that's doing the real time

Emotional work. No, they were doing no that break was super necessary for me. Yeah. Oh, and I also lived up to the title of this podcast

I am no longer in therapy because I cannot afford that shit

My therapist went up on me shout out to our in inflation

And she told me and I told you guys I pay out a pocket

Insurance doesn't cover my therapy sessions. That's wild to me. So yeah, I couldn't I literally I cannot afford therapy at this point in my life

So I have not been all summer. I don't remember where I was when we decided to take the break

You were just going back to school. So it's a big deal. Yeah, that was that's been fun

School's been really interesting because I've been learning

Kind of like a crash course on a lot of the stuff that we've talked about in the last season

And some of the stuff that were not inaccurate, but like how we could have went so much deeper if we were experts

But we're not

So I'm happy in the ways that we kind of dive into these things

And I also made me realize how needed the conversations we have are

I'm honored to be here with y'all for season two of can't afford therapy and guess what we still can't afford

It's so easy to lose sight and think you're invincible and think that your health always lasts until you see an 80-year-old man

That can't stand up straight so your grandma is not doing well. She has rheumatoid arthritis

And she just wants to cook for you, but she can't

The thought of healing myself would stress me out because it's another obligation
