So in November Kentucky voters sent a supermajority of Republicans to our capital of Frankfurt.

We have a Republican governor.

We have Republicans in the House and the Senate and the majority for the first time in a long time.

And their session just started.

They have declared pretty much all things an emergency.

And worked in a Saturday session to pass some legislation.

And we thought in the pearls we could talk about one piece of that and in the suit another.

So in the pearls we wanted to discuss new abortion legislation which was literally the first act to get through the Senate in Kentucky.

There are two components to the new law.

First an ultrasound requirement prior to an abortion being performed.

We already had a consultation with a doctor required.

Now we have an ultrasound component and then also a ban on any abortion after 20 weeks unless the mother's life is threatened.
