Welcome to the Ulster Museum in Belfast. I'm the Director of Collections, Mary

Breathnuck. As we enter the new decade of the 1970s, we face many changes to the art world. Many

0:32.7

national borders have fallen away, are world joining together in economic and political unity,

1:44.7

The tour follows a candor-clockwise pattern around the exhibit. Each piece with an accompanying

1:49.9

audio lecture will be noted with a blue star on the numbered title card, and there will be a tone

1:55.2

on the recording to indicate where you may pause the cassette before moving on to the next work.

2:01.2

Please enjoy your visit to Ulster Museum and the exhibit Red Love.

Painting 101 still life with tomato plant and sort by Claudia Attiano Oil on Canvas 1962.

2:35.0

It is one of her most discussed and debated works and is one of the collection of paintings that

2:39.7

shifted her career from successful artist to celebrity, as much as celebrity as a painter can be
