Before we start, just a quick warning that this episode contains descriptions of racist

violence, so please be aware.

Huge bonfires burn brightly all across the Mediterranean shore outside the walls of

the massively fortified city of Aca.

The heat from the flames provides warmth and comfort for the dejected men camped all

around.

One of these men, a lookout, spots something out to sea, moving towards them in the fog.

Squinting, he makes it out as the hull of an enormous ship.

Excited whispers start up around the camp.

Could this be the moment they've been waiting for?

The anticipation builds, as one by one, more ships come into view, more than anyone had

ever dared hopeful.

It's a vast fleet, dozens of galleys and troop transporters, ships carrying horses and

arms, supplies and siege weapons.

Above their billowing sails, some of them are flying warbanners, emblazoned with terrifying

dragons.

The weary, battle-blooded men who cover the entire beach, cheer and yell.

They blow horns and trumpets and sing hymns giving thanks to God.

Some have been camped outside Aca for two years, trying to break into the city while fending

off attacks from their enemies inland who want to drive them away.

It's been a grueling, miserable time.

They've been waiting and waiting for this moment.
