0:49.7	Back in 2015, I went searching on my podcast app because I was hoping that NPR had a Christmas
0:55.1	podcast, one of those nerdy, deep dive sort of things that emphasized curiosity and storytelling.
1:01.5	When it turned out that nothing like that existed, I decided to create Christmas past.
1:06.0	For the past nine seasons, that's been the basic premise.
1:09.3	Tell the stories behind Christmas traditions in a style meant to emulate public radio

1:14.9	But over these last several years, being knee-deep in Christmas history all the time, I've
1:19.3	come across many stories that I thought needed to be told in a different way.
