First, I want to say thank you.

I think understanding the definition of liberty is one of the most important things anyone can do intellectually, emotionally,

their physical health, their well-being, their understanding of personal accountability, personal responsibility, quality of life, et cetera, et cetera.

I mean, it just goes on and on about understanding how fulfilling life can be.

So thanks for doing that.

A lot of us, I'm 53, and a lot of us didn't even understand

liberty, had no idea what the Constitution was, and we were just bought in completely on

democracy, democracy, not realizing that there was something more important than our democracy.

And I remember the first time it popped up on my radar is,

I don't know if this story is exactly true, but the way I remember in my head is Egypt got its

freedom to vote and it became a democracy. And then the first thing they did was vote out their

democracy. And I was like, how the hell did they do that? And I was like, can we accidentally do that?

And then someone sat me down and

explain, no, that's why we have a constitution to protect us from people, to protect us from the

democracy. Am I on base there? Yeah, I would describe democracy as the 51% ruling over the 49%

should they want to, right?

It's tyranny of the majority.

And, you know, in these universities, you get the founders get a bad rap, right?

That they're these horrible people who didn't know no better.
