So where do we start today?

Well, let's start with the fact that you haven't heard from Donald Trump this week, have you?

Uh-uh.

Guess why?

Because he stepped in a big time last Saturday when he tweeted

out that Barack Obama had ordered a wiretap of his phones at Trump headquarters at Trump Tower

during the last days of the campaign. Now, of course, that didn't happen. He hasn't shown any

proof, not at all. He has put

everybody around him on the spot because they can't confirm it, because, again, it never happened.

And by the way, just by the way, right, this might have some relevance here. The president of the United States cannot

order the FBI to tap anybody's phones. Does not have the legal authority to do that. That was

taken away after Richard Nixon did it back in Watergate days. But it does what, here's what Donald Trump didn't expect.

It raises the question, well, if somebody was tapping his phones, why were they?

And the only people who could have been doing it was the FBI, which would have to go to FISA, the FISA court, to get a warrant.

So if they were, you see where this is going, if they

were tapping his phones, they had to have gone to FISA, the FISA court, and they had to

prove to the FISA court that there was some reasonable suspicion of criminal activity for them to do so.

So if indeed Donald Trump's phones are being tapped, it's because he is under investigation.

Now, we don't know that for sure, but that's what really is this is all about.

And that's why all week long, unusual for him, Donald Trump has

not taken one question from one reporter, even though he has had lots of events where they
