Now in this episode I got on Sean Shinnick.

Sean is an O-Cadvocate and artist based in Boston.

And I got the pleasure of getting to know Sean in Denver at Christie's Game Changers event last year.

And since then he's become a good friend, so I was very happy to finally convince him to come on the podcast and share his OCD story review.

And he does do that and he does it in so much detail.

It's a brilliant story.

I think we're all going to find it engaging and hopefully you can relate to some parts and find it useful.

But yeah in it obviously you talk a lot about his story. We talk about

monsters as metaphors. He's got the Monster Initiative, which was originally Draw Your

Monster, where he got people in workshops to draw, OCD or whatever it was that was bothering

them as a monster and kind of putting it down on paper and he says there's some real self-compassion in that and you can get some distance from what's bothering you.

We talk about how he started his advocacy, we talk about creativity, we talk about how art helps him and he goes into detail about almost the philosophy of art. It's really interesting.
