Sean Mullen, thrilled to talk to you, Sean.

You grew up in Indiana and you lived in Florida as well.

So why did you pick Yoki-Bara as the subject matter here?

Well, you know, first of all, thanks so much for having me.

And this is really great to be on your show.

I, you know, it actually, the project came to me from other producers, had approached me,

and thought I might be a right fit for it, and it turned out I really was.

I really connected with yogi on a lot of levels and just had a great time telling a story.

You know, it's somebody who was kind of criminally overlooked his whole life in a lot of different

ways and kind of misunderstood. You know, his persona off the field kind of overshadowed what he did on the diamond,

and we want to kind of take a look at that and see if we can kind of straighten out that legacy for him.

Yeah, he was overlooked.

As a matter of fact, I saw the trailer, and I love the line from Billy Crystal,

who said he was the most overlooked superstar in the

history of baseball. Was he overlooked because his personality kind of overtook what he was doing

on the field? Yeah, I think so. I think people have a hard time allowing people to be both funny

and good. You know, nobody wants the gesture to be king, but Yogi was both, you know, and I think

it's hard for people to rectify that in the brain sometimes. They want to put you in kind of

boxes, and Yogi was not going to be put in any box by any means, you know.

And I thank you for including two little clips of me in the movie when I'm on the news channel

for set.
