Today we're talking about Sherry Martel here on the Golden Era podcast with Sean.

Sean, how are you doing today?

I am doing great and I'm glad this is the topic we're covering.

I have mentioned several times that I believe that Sensational Sherry never got the credit that she deserved for her career.

I really, and you mentioned from a queen, I honestly, I think that when you talk about all of these greats and May Young and fabulous Mullah and China and all these others,

and I take nothing away from them because they certainly helped blaze a trail for women uh in professional wrestling but no one did for uh women

in that industry to me more than what sensational sherry did because she was able to cross over and she wasn't just you know a

side piece or you know she wasn't just a piece of furniture out there you know looking great or whatever

she was mixing it up and could stand toe to toe with these guys.

And so I'm glad we're talking about Sherry because she really deserves some credit for what she did.

Of course.

And as you mentioned, you know, you mentioned some greats right there.
