Sources with insight to the Raiders front office tell us Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator

Clint Kubiak is the top contender to be the team's next head coach.

ESPN reporting after Kububek's second interview with

the Silver and Black on Saturday, he intends on working out a deal. One source I spoke with tells me,

quote, while no agreement has officially been made, both sides are optimistic that there can be some

sort of letter of intent signed this week. I'm told that the official announcement will be Monday, February 9th.

Now, no deal can officially be made until after Kubiak coaches in the Super Bowl,

but we'll keep you updated on Channel 13 as we learn more.
