Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk TV with you all the way through until 1 o'clock of course.

It's a relatively cool summer's day, you might say. August the 8th.

Quite an early summer, I would say we had, didn't we? It was in June. We haven't had one since. Never mind.

It might get warmer. They're saying it's getting very hot down in Portugal. Apparently there's a fire, raging its way towards Barrow, where it's currently very balmy, 23 degrees.

Who knows why the fire was started, but probably was started by somebody, because you'd know

that, wouldn't you? We're going to talk about a lot of things this morning, including, of course,

the migrant problem, because it would appear that all the focus at the moment is not on the people

coming across the channel. It's about 15 people currently sitting on a barge off the coast

of Weymouth, right, where apparently there's a 24-hour canteen where you can get free food,

which is not bad, there's bunk beds, there's all kinds of gym, nasium equipment that you can use,

and the men who are on they can come and go.

I've seen pictures of them getting on with some rather handsome looking luggage.

Considering they flee the war zone, I'm not sure whether they got these Samsonite briefcases from

and the suitcases that they carried with them.

But they're all looking very happy with their lot, unlike the other ones who are cowering on the key side, saying,

we're bright of water. We can't go all the stationary boats sitting on a very still piece of

sea, because we're frightened of water. But don't worry, we weren't frightened of water last

week when we came across on the dinghy, when it was a bit rough in the channel, and when we

paid $5,000 for the privilege of doing so. I mean, are they having

a laugh? Are these charities and these law firms actually taking the Mickey? I think they are.

And I think unfortunately because we keep playing fair with these bozos, we keep getting beaten by them.

Because let's face it, if somebody sat in front of you smoking a cigarette and said, I'm frightened

...
