It reminds me of the question of Jehoshaphat when he was surrounded.

He said, everywhere I looked, there was mess.

So I looked north, there was northern mess.

South southern mess.

East, eastern mess, west, western mess.

There's just mess.

And he just threw his hands up and he says,

and I don't know what to do.

Anybody ever been in a I don't know what to do situation?

You just don't know which way to go.

According to the psalmist,

thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
