My favorite headline that came out was conservative school board candidates overwhelmingly

lose.

I love it.

So it was interesting to see this headline next to the McCalliff loss.

And I was like, this is kind of an interesting juxtaposition to see these two things going

on at the same time.

Last week's election was a little disappointing, especially in Virginia, but there's still so many

victories to celebrate and so much good work being done. And even when we don't win elections, there's always

work we can do on a more local level. So later on, I'm going to talk to Christina Wong, an artist

and activists who organized hundreds of women to make masks during the pandemic. But first,
