And on this week's episode, we're going to be talking about the 2023 film, Scream 6, directed by Matt Bettenelli, Olpen, and Tyler Gillette, written by James

Vanderbilt and Guy Busek, and starring Melissa Barrera, Jasmine Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding,

Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panetari, and Courtney Cox.

In the sequel to the reboot that came out last year, the ghost face killer returns to stock the victims of the last movie who now live in New York City.

out and then we'll come back and talk about the plot we'll go through the spoilers and we'll get

into our review brian uh this movie comes out on the heels of part five of last year what was your

level of excitement going into this and

what were some of your expectations?

I think expectations might be the name of the game with this movie for people.

I had mid, very mid expectations because I was very mid on part five.

I think I gave that a three, which is funny. Whenever I give

something a three, I always feel like I'm giving it a bad rating. I know. I enjoyed it. I just

didn't think it was that great. So I was just like, nah, I expect about the same from this one.

My hopes were not high. So I wasn't even really that excited about it at all.

It was just like, okay, well, that's a movie. I know I'm going to go see in the theater.

And that's about it. How about you? Exactly the same, man. Pretty middling expectations.
