And we're here to specifically talk about on this special episode about...

We're talking about Stranger Things, too.

Way back when it originally aired, back when it was Jamie and I in the dungeon, we talked about Stranger Things.

And I know I felt that I'm pretty sure I should have maybe gone back and listened to that, that she felt that it was good, but that we were both kind of overwhelmed or shocked by the overwhelming love that it got.

I mean, it was at a point where it was like Stranger Things was the highest rated thing on IMDB.

And we called the episode The Two Stevens, and it was we talked about like the quote unquote influence of Stephen King and

Steven Spielberg on Stranger Things and I guess there's a certain amount of how much

you love season one on how much you thought that it was ripping off and how much it was

an homage to a very specific 80s vibe because it was it wasn't just

you know movies TV shows books the soundtrack itself um I don't know what what what

what are your thoughts uh because I have a lot of thoughts and then uh first season first

season one I mean, it's weird.

I don't, I personally was totally fine with the nostalgic drooling of season one for the most part.

I got it.

It was fun to spot the references.

And I mean, my, honestly, like, I think my most significant beef with it is come the end of those eight episodes. All I thought to myself

was that there was no reason this had to be stretched into eight hours. I did not get eight

hours of powerful character development or, you know, the sumptuous design and story buildup.
