This is a human rights movement we're talking about today, a civil rights movement for children,

against one of the biggest offenders in the world, the Boy Scouts of America.

Today we're talking to Director Brian Nappenberger.

The Boy Scouts were considered a model youth group with its emphasis on proud citizenship,

self-reliance, and good character.

But too often, its troops attracted adult volunteers who preyed on the unsuspecting children.

For decades, the National Headquarters kept extensive confidential files on the predators within their ranks and their victims.

It wasn't until illegal reckoning that the scouts were forced to reveal the files existence,

which demonstrated how little they did to address the systemic issue.

Through exclusive interviews with whistleblowers, survivors, and former employees, Scouts'

Honor exposes how the Boy Scouts of America attempted to cover up one of history's most horrific child sexual abuse scandals.

I'm not going to sit here and be quiet.

I know kids are still at risk of being sexually abused in scouting. And I'm joined now by Director Brian Nappenberger.

Well I was making a short film called Church in the Fourth Estate and that film kind of almost accident, stumbled into this territory.
