Hello everyone, Matt Williamson here. How's everything going? Good on my end. So, I want to have a Drew Aller conversation today. First off, I want to tell you kind of how my process works with this situation.

Please remember I am a scouting staff of one and I employ as

many opinions and resources I possibly can pre-draft. But I want to be on top of the top 8, 10, 12

quarterbacks and frankly all position players, but I'm just focusing on quarterbacks right now.

To have opinions

on them for you guys and for my job and all those things before the draft.

Now, this is true for everyone the Steelers select.

I go into a much deeper dive on the player after the Steelers pick them.

Like, you guys know I loved Max and Haontichore and blah, blah, blah,

Eli, and all those dudes, I mean, dudes, you know,

but especially a quarterback, I'm going to dig into it even deeper.

And frankly, I was not high on Aller at all going into the into the draft process.

But knowing the landing spot, knowing this organization as well as I do, I'm trying to do my best

to think as the Steelers are thinking here. You know, what do they see in Aller to make this

pick worthwhile? And I do think there is

plenty, to be honest with you. And I'm starting to come around a little that there's more than I

originally thought without question. I am not saying he's got no chance. I'm not saying he's a bum.

I'm not saying it's a terrible pick. I understand better, more and more, what they're looking at from their perspective. It'd be different

if the bears took them or whoever. You know what I mean? Every situation is different.

Now, one thing that worries me, just with the process of it all. There's a couple things. There's a lot of

things. I'm not sure how he, how, what story could we write that he, or even Howard, for this

matter, assuming Aaron Rogers returns, I know there's some news on that, but I'm not going to
