shaking in Steeler land. So something I've been wanting to talk about for about a week or so now.

Now we finally get the opportunity is the state of the Steelers secondary.

They've made some additions.

There's some more options.

We still have a draft looming.

I don't think they're going to sign anybody else.

In the meantime, in the secondary.

One of my goals from the secondary from a year ago was to get faster and more athletic

on the back end. I think they semi-accomplished that, but not by leaps and bounds. So if they

were to draft, and I think they will, especially safety. If they were to draft the defensive back,

one of my not prerequisites, but preferred options would be speed, speed, speed. So,

we want to examine some things. I'm kind of looking from a depth chart perspective. So I think as much as ever, if not more than ever, the Steelers are going to live in nickel.

It's one of the reasons they haven't addressed a big nose tackle because they're going to have four defensive linemen on the field, two linebackers, and five defensive backs. I think that's going to be

by far the highest percentage of snaps plate. And I think it's pretty clear today what this looks like.

And basically what this whole podcast comes down to is what do they think of Jalen Ramsey or what's his

future and I think in the end the short answer to that question is it it leaves the door

open for a couple other moves you know draft wise but I'm also a little concerned about it

I mean he's really expensive And so if they're in

nickel, if they'd line up today, I think it's very clear that Porter and Dean are your

outside corners. Those two aren't going to do anything other than that. They're your outside

corners. So if you're in nickel, those two are't going to do anything other than that. They're your outside corners.
