toasty here in the bird, but yeah, so be it. It is summer. Again, I'm going to be gone all next week

on a family vacation, and then it's basically training camp camp time so we'll have a lot to discuss

I dug this up this was you can find it a bunch of places but I found it on Warren's Sharp's

website NFL implied team totals what's that mean basically what they're forecasting

points per game how forecasting points per game.

How many points per game is every team in the league going to score?

Well, how do they come up with that?

It's actually very easy.

It comes straight from sportsbooks lines.

You can vote on, or you can bet on any game in that it's been any game

coming up. You can bet week 15 stealer game, week 12 Bears game. There is a line, there is a money

line, there is a total, you know, over under. And that's the key. So I'm not a mathematician, but if the Steelers are

favored by three against the Browns and the over under is 43, hang with me on the math here,

that implies that the Steelers would score 23 points and the Browns would score 20. That adds up to 43

and equals the three point line. So if you do that for every game and you average it out over

the course of the season, and again, these lines are going to change, but they're implied team totals.

And again, I get this from Warren Sharp, but boy, Vegas knows a thing or two.

You know, I mean, their lines are anyone that's ever placed a bet or is familiar with, you know, NFL betting, not that I'm an expert, realizes that these lines are extremely well set.

So based off of that math, they have a list from 1 to 32 of how many points per game

every team is implied to score this year.

So at the top, Rams, 26.7, Bills, 26.1, lions, 26.1. Ravens and Bengals, both at 26.
