It's starting to feel like summer.

We had Steelers rookie camp.

I'm going to talk about that in a minute,

but wanted to talk about the news of the day, first of all.

Steelers extend Chris Boswell on a $7 million per year,

four-year deal, making him basically tied with Brandon Aubrey as the most well-compensated

kicker in the league. I don't have a lot to add to this, to be honest with you. The one thing I don't know yet

recording this Monday evening is can they get out of the deal after a year or two or three

if things go south, if he hits a wall? But he's in his mid-30s. I don't expect that to happen at all.

I frankly think this was probably about the easiest negotiation you could ever ask for.

And Boswell's agent probably owes the Aubrey Camp a fruit basket or something too.

Like, hey, here's what Aubrey's making, who's younger and awesome, by the way.

What do you think?

And the Steelers probably said, all right, sign me up.

Let's just do that.

Give you $7 million a year.

You've been phenomenal for us.
