But he asked me, is our highsmith and watt, the greatest outside linebacker duo ever?

I don't think he's talking about in Steeler history.

I don't think he's talking about in the league as we speak.

I think he's asking me, are they the best pair of edge rushers teammates that ever lived?

I'm not willing to go there. But he does have this little chart here that's their peak

year, 2002, High Smith and Watt combined for 28.5 sacks, which is two better than Frini and Mathis in 2004.

Vaughan Miller and DeMarcus Ware had 18 and a half in 2015.

Bosa and Ingram for the Chargers had 23 in 2017.

So I see where you're coming from. I mean, that's a pretty darn good pairing, which I've been telling you, and I think all of you know

anyway, that Highsmith and Watt are an elite pairing. But I'm not going to go there. I mean,

the best set of Eddrushers ever on a team together? I just can't go there.

Now, where I wanted to take this, though, is are they the best pair in the league right now?

And I don't think Crosby, Bosa, Parsons, Garrett, have anyone like Highsmith on the other side.

So they don't have a Robin to their Batman that is comparable.

But the one pairing that I would say, and I'm kind of taking your question in a different

direction, I think the Texans with Will Anderson and Deniel Hunter is a better pair right now.

It's close.

Like I would take Watt over both those guys, but not by leaps and bounds.
