Hello everyone, Matt Williamson here.

Recording this Thursday evening, as usual, for a Friday show.

I would imagine you don't have a lot of clarity on this subject by the time you listen,

but I would also imagine that Aaron Rogers is probably

in Pittsburgh by now while you're listening. And that's the story of the day. And so I wanted to

at least address it. And I have some of the things I wanted to dig into as well. Rogers and

Seed a quarterback related. But I, the news is, if you haven't heard, okay, Rogers is coming into town this weekend.

I'm sure all the reporters will be taking pictures of him getting out of his car and

hunting him down at the airport, blah, blah, blah.

He's going to meet with the Steelers, and he is very likely, I think, were the quoted words,

to be playing for the Steelers this year.

I feel like I'm crazy if I don't bring it up and just ignore it this week.

So we are going to have this quick discussion.

But I don't think any of this is all that newsworthy, to be honest with you.

I mean, I do believe the following, which I think is bringing this on at a little bit faster rate, that one, the Steelers put that tag on him that really, in all honesty, doesn't change anything between player and team.

All what really does is just ensures that the Steelers would get comp pick consideration and

compensation if he were to sign elsewhere.

And along those lines, we've been hearing lots of rumors.

I don't know if it's true or not, but it would make sense considering where the Arizona

Cardinals are at right now, that they had an interest because it sounds like Jacoby

Burset is kind of raking them over the coals for more money.

They have back the third round pick, much like the Steelers, took Aller. They were those
