Hello, everyone. I am Matt Williams and what is going on?

Happy Friday to all. You're probably even listening to this on Saturday or Sunday,

doing whatever you do on the weekends. It is Super Bowl weekend, and that's basically what the gist

of this podcast is going to be.

Very little Steelers talk.

I want to talk a little bit about the awards that were given out last night.

Again, I'm recording this Friday evening.

I guess we could start there with a Steeler theme is Elsie Greenwood did not get in on the Veterans Committee.

Instead, it was Roger Craig.

I thought it was the best group of veteran Hall of Fame potentials players I've ever seen,

along with Ken Anderson.

Those were the three.

But I would have ranked them as impartially as I possibly could. Craig first,

Anderson second, Elsie Greenwood third. But as veteran committee inductions go, I thought all were

very deserving. Too bad, LC didn't get in, but I get it. Roger Craig was way ahead of his time as a pass catcher, part of a great team. Really, really fun to watch. I'm not sure if all you were old as me and remember that. I was like 10 years old when he burst on the scene and he was a heck of a running back. Speaking of the Hall of Fame, congrats to my buddy Larry Fitzgerald. easy one. Breeze, easy one. Keeckley,

should have got in last year. Easy one. I can't believe they make some of these guys wait an

extra year. So dumb to me. But I had a real problem with Ventieri. I understand he had,

he has more points than anyone in NFL history,

but he played forever.

He's a compiler at a position that doesn't take a lot of wear and tear.

And yes,

he had two very distinct careers in two different cities
